Sometimes, the best things in life happen when you’re not looking for them.

Our story began in February 2024 when we met online. Neither of us was looking for anything particularly serious, and neither of us could have imagined just how much one completely random match would change our lives.

On paper, we probably seemed like an unlikely pair. Charlie, a dairy farmer, spending his days surrounded by cows and countryside, and Nathan, working in technology and AI with companies around the world. Two completely different worlds — but somehow, from the very beginning, it just worked.

It was pretty much love at first sight.

As we spent more and more time together over those first few weeks, we quickly realised that this was something special. We fell for each other almost immediately, and before long, what started as a random online match became the beginning of our life together.

Things moved quickly in the best possible way, and by June 2024, Charlie had moved into Nathan’s house. From that moment on, life together just felt right — and it has been an incredible adventure ever since.

In September 2025, we got engaged, and we couldn’t have been more excited to take the next step in our story.

In the nearly three years we’ve been together, we’ve built so much more than just a life and a home together. We’ve also built a successful business together, something we’re incredibly proud of and continue to grow. Through all the busy days, big ideas and exciting plans, we’ve always remained each other’s biggest supporters.

We still love our random date nights — whether that means heading out somewhere together or simply spending a cosy evening at home. No matter what we’re doing, the best part has always been doing it together.

And now, we’re counting down to our next chapter.

In December 2028, we’ll be getting married at the beautiful Hilltop Country House in Macclesfield, surrounded by the people who mean the most to us.

What started as a completely random match online turned out to be a match made in heaven, and we honestly couldn’t imagine our lives without one another.

We are so excited to celebrate our wedding day with all of the people we love and to have you there as we begin the next chapter of our story.
